Subject: DG: The Meaning of Karotechia?

     Hey all,

While waiting for Glancey to 'fess up, I'll take a stab at etymology
     of Karotechia.
First, we're all chasing our tails (most of us metaphorically, a
chosen few of us literally) with breaking the word into Karo - techia.
Well of course it doesn't make any sense. But, split it into Karote -
chia and we're on to something.

Karote - obviously a Teutonized spelling of karate, which is term
derived from the combination of two words; kara, or empty, and te for
     hand.

chia - a fast-growing moss that simulates hair

From this I conclude that the Karotechia is descended from the Cult
of the Empty Hand With Hair Growing From It, an onanistic Tantric
conspiracy that was a contemporary of the Golden Dawn. Not much is
known about them as they were secretive and tended to keep to
themselves, though legend has it that they all inevitably went blind.

Tracing the ancestry of the Karotechia to the COTOHWHGFI is a bit of
a coup, as most assumed that (due to their practices) the COTOHWHGFI
     had no descendants.
